The Pro 440 is perfect for sewing or repairing leather bridles, halters, breast collars and most saddle work. We do not recommend this machine as the best machine for sewing saddle skirts but there are customers that do sew saddle skirts with this machine.

If you are just beginning and want a great machine to get started with. This is the sewing machine you need. We have many of our new customers that are just getting started using this machine and then when their business increases and they have the demand for a better heavy machine, they are up grading to one of our bigger machines. We are very liberal when it comes to trade in value on this machine if you are upgrading to one of our bigger machines. Average trade-in value on a Pro 440r is around $900.00 to $1100.00 if you upgrade in the first couple years you have it. Value is slightly lower after 3 years of use.

Go to our customer list and call some of our customers and get their response on the machine.

The Pro 2000 was designed by Ferdinand JeanBlanc in 1991 using a Juki 441 frame from Juki USA. In 1995 we went to a Tiawan manufacturer and had the 441 changed to our new specifications which we use now. Once the casting is delivered to us, we convert the 441 into the Super Bull Pro 2000 that you see advertised today.

You may be familiar with some of the other proceeding versions of the Bull or heavy stitchers Ferdinand has designed and built in the past.

These would be:

The Chandler 305 Bull - From 1964 to 1968

The Alder 105 Bull - From 1968 to 1979

The Adler 205 Bull - From 1980 to 1985

The Ferdinand 900 Bull - From 1985 to 1993

The Juki Pro 2000 - From 1993 to 1995

And the Ferdco Pro 2000 'Super Bull' - From 1995 to Present

We still make parts and service all of the above machines.

As you have probably seen there are several other sewing machines advertised that looks like the Super Bull Pro 2000 , and seem to be capable of sewing the same products, but at a cheaper price. Don't be fooled! These sewing machine just look like the Pro 2000 , they don't stitch like it! Look a-likes would be a USA Juki 441, The Toro 4000 and Sew-Mo 441 to name a few.

We have several patented parts on the Pro 2000 that makes it the best Leather Stitcher available today. Our patented Upper and Lower Needle Guide make it virtually impossible to skip a stitch! For every 10 skipped stitches on one of the other sewing machines available, you may or may not skip 1 stitch on the Ferdco Super Bull Pro 2000 . Take a look at the list below and compare. If you are still not convinced, send us your samples and have us sew them and we will show you!

Best Quality of stitch - #1

Least skipped stitches - #1

No feed dog marks - #1

Fewest Adjustments - #1

Variety of Attachments - #1

Best Guarantee - #1

Best Warranty - #1

Best Service - #1

Most Satisfied Customers - #1

Still not convinced. Call any of the Pro 2000 customers listed on this web site under Pro 2000 customers and let them tell you the how, what, & why's they have experienced with our Super Bull Pro 2000 .

The Pro 2000 is designed to sew from 3 layers of 16 oz. harness leather down to thin chap material without adjusting the sewing machine tensions .

As mentioned above the Pro 2000 has some unique features. First - It just doesn't skip stitches! With its patented lower needle guide the needle just can't miss the hook. Second - It has a patented center presser foot to guide the needle straight down to the hook. Again NO SKIPPED STITCHES !

Besides the above features the Pro 2000 is the only heavy stitcher that gives you the same stitch in forward as it does in reverse. This is known as 0 timing . The timing of most sewing machines are set with a longer forward stitch than in reverse. This is mostly because the reverse stitch is not as critical in material as it is in leather.

Attachments. The Pro 2000 have over 25 different attachments available for doing odd and different types of projects. Each one of these attachments greatly enhance the number of projects you can sew with the Pro 2000 . From basic saddle and harness repair , sewing new harness and saddles to sewing a pair of levi's , these attachments make sewing any project a breeze.

Ferdco Pro 2000
